In the âHow to Have a Better Relationshipâ episode, the founder of Brace Life Studios, Robert Brace, gave tools to help us navigate the challenges that come with romantic relationships. No one teaches you how to be a good partner and way too many of us are just winging it.
â
This conversation helps to provide the tools to show up as better people for our partners. Getting curious and putting our ego to bed in order to communicate more effectively sounds easy, but has been proven to trip many of us up. Healthy relationships donât happen by accident, nor do they happen overnight, our commitment to it changes the experience.
â
KEY POINTS:
Once we get in our own heads itâs easy to confirm whatever bias we have in our minds.
If youâre judging while your partner is explaining how theyâre feeling then your energy is spent on your judgment versus the curiosity of why they feel the way they do.
Feeling like a simp a lot of times comes from the feeling of having to keep doing without ever receiving also.
Lay your ego down and remain curious.
When you dismiss your partnerâs effort it shuts them down and makes them less available to you emotionally.
Natural is whatever you decide it to be.
â
QUOTABLES:
âDepth requires energy. Take the time to replenish yourself.â
âLearn to listen through your own judgment.â
âStay curious because thatâs when you begin to better understand each other.â
âIf you want something thatâs going to last and go deep youâre going to have to make some commitments to it.â

I loved Dani views of this topic because I grew up in church also , but as an adult I figured out for myself that we truly should have a relationship with God and I listen to Mike Todd a preacher from Tulsa and he also states same thing. Belief and relationship with God doesnât require rituals or any of that. I donât let anything that Iâve seen in the church sway me from my belief in God. I believe in God not man or a religion. God does want us to fellowship with others but God is everywhere! I turn on my worship music all the time at home, in the car etc. it doesnât require us to be in church because we can have church anywhere
Two beautiful and uber intelligent young women discussing various topics that are extremely relevant for today? Iâm in!!! I was not disappointed and Iâm sure you wonât be either.
These ladies talk about real, relatable content. Specifically the Villainous Victims episode. And itâs trueâŠwe are all villains in someone elseâs story, which can be tough to admit. But necessary to understand.
I think đ€ we need to listen to what these women have to say. I was very impressed with the episodes and hope to hear many more.
