So how do you build that confidence within you? In this episode, you will learn how paying more attention to the road you carve out will open your eyes to your own worth, skill, and potential as a professional. It’s time to go after the big goals and not just the easy ones. Tune in now to find out how.

KEY POINTS / MAIN TAKEAWAYS:

  • Are you truly stepping out on faith?
  • How job descriptions are like Christmas lists.
  • The importance of knowing and articulating your skillset.
  • How the road you paved can take you to the next level.

QUOTABLES:

“You understand your story - the road, every brick that took your own blood, sweat, and tears to get you to this moment. You need to be able to articulate that.”

“The road that you have built with all of your accomplishments, results, your tasks, etc - many people think that stops at the tip of your toes. But when you've built a good road, trust and believe that road is now turning into a runway to catapult you to the next level.”

I love the messages and positive energy of this podcast. I want to use the tips in my daily life. I listened to “Mixtape Confidence” episode and it was very insightful on how personal life and work are a balance that we need to focus on. Also , i love the reference to the movie “Girls Trip”. The actress Tiffany Haddish has a very inspiring story . Hopefully one day she will be a guest on the podcast

Kimberly’s content is billed as being for women and people of color. As a white male, I feel that her content is universally applicable. As a person that benefited from privilege I appreciate having access to this point of view. I feel that being able to get an understanding of these topics from her perspective helps me better approach these topics with my employees.I hope she keeps producing new episodes and publishing books.
