In this episode, I am inviting you to join me for a very unique conversation with a great friend. Fair warning, this is not my normal podcast episode.
Last year, I built a strong relationship with GOD which was something I'd been longing for for a long long time. For the first 27 years of my life, I'd witnessed him work wonders in the lives of my friends and loved ones but yet I felt like I didn't know him at all. Through my good friend and guest today, Hilary Bolt, I learned the importance of having a spiritual relationship with him and how you should carry no burden alone.
We discuss my journey to building a relationship with GOD in what I call the beginner phase and how we too often concern ourselves with how we are perceived from peer colored lenses. We both mention how your Faith will be tested when he's trying to remove you from living a life of fear and shame.
I know this episode will not be for everybody, but if your searching for more like I was or just looking for hope you will enjoy this episode. One thing I know for sure is FAITH is a requirement to get out of your stranded phase, and that is my only one goal for you.
I loved this last episode!! I’m sure there are many people listening who struggled with having a relationship with God, or don’t know where to start or think they have to be perfect to come to him.. but really God wants us in all our mess! Trust! I’ve been there growing up in church it’s a struggle! but having God in my life is better then going without him I’ve tried it my way and it never works! God always give us what we want so we can truly see it wasn’t what we REALLY wanted! As I’m listening I’m like where is my Hillary! Or am I her? Lol Having a sister in Christ to go to things with or discuss is probably the most encouraging thing to have! But at times God will have us in seasons as he did David in the Bible where he encouraged himself to get through! Keep going up J! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
