This is the first of my "15 min Fridays" episode. This is an opportunity for me to do what I ask of my guests and share lessons learned or vulnerable moments during the month with the intent you are able to gain something from it.
This Episode addresses everyone's questions about my TEDx talk experience most recently. I talk about how much fun it was, the amazing people I met, the discipline it required of me, and the fast track to public speaking I was immersed in because of this experience.
I also use the rest of the episode to get deep about a brief mental breakdown I had on the evening of MY BIRTHDAY last week. Even in my current state where I feel like my life is amazing 98.9% of the time, a recent podcast episode pointed out to me that I wasn't identifying the answer to the following question:
"How do you want to feel when you achieve a goal?"
Not accomplished, not confident, not intelligent, but the core feelings I desire the moment I achieve something big. Revolutionary concept if you ask me and when goal setting this is something I will implement from here on out.
I love listening to Jessica! I think I ran across her podcast from someone on my Instagram, best thing I could have done! I can’t wait until January so I can attend the seminar! You have a forever listener from Baton Rouge, LA! Keep going, you are an inspiration ❤️
This is everything. I can’t say I didn’t cry hearing this because I did.Ive never heard something this accurate in my life ! To think that any women or even sometimes men feel like they are legit going nuts from thinking “ this is it ?! It can’t be “. Wanting more for yourself doesn’t mean your ungrateful and that is exactly what I needed to hear ! This is simply golden, thank you so much for pouring to us. Looking forward to continuing hearing more of your podcasts.XoxoJessica C.
I love the Stranded podcast!! It’s so authentic, the host and the guests are wonderful. It adds some much needed positivity to my day.
I’ve followed from episode one and the content was amazing then. It’s only continued to improve and expose me to a ton of information I really need. Thanks for such a great show Jess.
