This is the first of my "15 min Fridays" episode. This is an opportunity for me to do what I ask of my guests and share lessons learned or vulnerable moments during the month with the intent you are able to gain something from it.
This Episode addresses everyone's questions about my TEDx talk experience most recently. I talk about how much fun it was, the amazing people I met, the discipline it required of me, and the fast track to public speaking I was immersed in because of this experience.
I also use the rest of the episode to get deep about a brief mental breakdown I had on the evening of MY BIRTHDAY last week. Even in my current state where I feel like my life is amazing 98.9% of the time, a recent podcast episode pointed out to me that I wasn't identifying the answer to the following question:
"How do you want to feel when you achieve a goal?"
Not accomplished, not confident, not intelligent, but the core feelings I desire the moment I achieve something big. Revolutionary concept if you ask me and when goal setting this is something I will implement from here on out.
This is my necessity each week! Jessica is so real and raw, weather itās a guest or her 15 min fridays each episode has something for everyone! She covers everything, especially women looking for hope and motivation when taking a leap of faith in business or their career. Donāt miss the one!!
I hated when I want to celebrate a win and there was no applause but more like, āoh niceā rather than Iām so happy for you. Ugh
Followed Jessica on Insta for probably years and everyday I would think, one day Iām gonna just listen, sheās so inspiring, relatable and down to earth. Literally never knew what I was missing! 15 min Fridayās have been far my favorite! Keep pouring that positivity girl! Plus sheās raising a handsome young man šš
All I can say is WHOA!!! This podcast has me literally blown away! Jess is your no holds barred, tell it straight, sister from another motheršš½I havenāt come across an episode that I havenāt absolutely loved! This podcast has me digging deep on a level I didnāt even know exist. Listen, save, and repeat!
