No Hood like Motherhood: The lessons I learned from my first year of Motherhood

Today I reflect on something very personal for myself and my family! Its the fact that my son is turning one in a week and that means I have spent this entire last year learning to manage my life plus a little person who owns me.

My son had a difficult journey, many of my long time listeners know my son spent the first 3 months of his life living in the NICU. So this birthday, this milestone, is that much sweeter for Mommy and Daddy because we are celebrating our resilient son.

In celebration of my munchkin I present an episode to you full of my fast track, learn by fire lessons I learned the hard way in my first year of Motherhood.

If your listening and you can relate, make sure to comment and review to let me know if this was helpful.

I want to say your podcast is SO AMAZING. Today’s episode (1/10/2020) is so me because I’m so scared to fail that I’m not doing anything in my business because Im paralyze on the HOW. I really wish I could attend your event but I’ll be out of town. Hopefully there will be another event this year. Just want to say thank you.

Oh Jess.........what can I say about this girl I feel like I’ve known her for years lol ....she inspires me almost daily, she is a mirror of strength, perseverance, determination, I could go on and on. She is transparent in her podcasts giving us all inspiration and motivation to be the best versions of ourselves. I LOVE listening to her and look forward to her posts and podcasts. Absolutely loved this episode! My takeaway from this episode basically confirms what I already knew to be true. We only have one person to blame for where we are- ourselves! Changing your life requires you to take personal accountability. Period. I appreciate you giving it to us straight, Jessica!
